Kiki (Miru Miroslava) SVOLIKOVA is an award-winning playwright and translator who has also been making a name for herself as the musician KIKI POP through numerous performances since 2022. Also has been running the art project THE NUNS since 2024.

Family background Exile from the communist CSSR and nearly ended up in Australia, but grew up in Austria, Styria, Graz and Vienna. Svolikova initially studied philosophy in Vienna and Paris and, while later studying art, came to the theater through writing competitions. The first pieces, „the crouchers“ and „this wall summarizes itself and the star has spoken, the star has also said something“, were seen in multiple revivals in Vienna, „God is 3 women“ and 2Europe flies to Europe“ were re-enacted several times, the last one being the season motto in 2018 of the famous Burgtheater. „The speaker and the prompter“ received the Austrian Theater Alliance’s author’s award, and „RAND“ was published as a book by the Suhrkamp Theater in 2022. King Lear new translation etc. at the Thalia Theater and Schauspielhaus Bochum. Numerous awards, most recently the Nestroy Author Prize and a federal project grant for a poetry book.

Also works in an interdisciplinary manner between electronic music, fine art and theatrical arrangement*. Numerous appearances as KIKI POP. Choreography, performance and video/photo project THE NUNS. Invited as a permanent guest to the Schauspielhaus Vienna hotel project in the 2021/22 season and residency in the Creative Cluster project room. Performances and exhibitions, among others at the Kunstverein ve.sch, Volkstheater Rote Bar, Kunstsalon Fluc, the schiassn Linz, Hilger BROTkunsthalle, Goethe Institute Tokyo and at the Kultursommer Wien.
